Join us for the OCLC Eastern Annual Meeting on October 17, 2008, as we host OCLC’s senior executive leadership. This year’s event will focus on OCLC’s future role in the ever-changing information landscape and will feature:

  • Jay Jordan, OCLC President and CEO, will address the organization’s vision, strategy and role in furthering access to the world’s information.
  • Cathy De Rosa, Vice President for the Americas and Global Vice President of Marketing for OCLC, will give an update on emerging trends and solutions, including WorldCat Local, OCLC’s new service that combines the cooperative power of OCLC member libraries worldwide with the ability to customize WorldCat.org as a solution for local discovery and delivery services.
  • George Needham, OCLC Vice President, Member Services, will discuss the historical growth and value of membership within the world’s largest library cooperative.

This event is a rare opportunity for library directors and staff to personally engage with OCLC’s senior management executives and discuss trends and challenges in the library industry.
